Success is the worst teacher.
If you are constantly striving for perfection and focusing on it so much that you don't see the lessons sitting right in front of you - that success, or the hope of that success, is holding you back.
I have so many stories of things that didn’t go the way I had planned. But I’ve learned that through those experiences, through listening to and observing those “failures” - I’ve been able to come out 10x stronger. Because success breeds complacency.
